Car Crashes Into Morristown Store; No Injuries
A recent car accident in New Jersey caused damage to a store building, but fortunately, nobody was injured.
The crash occurred on June 28 in Morristown. A Ford Fusion crashed into the entrance of 23 South Boutique after colliding with a Honda HR-V. The vehicle caused significant damage to the front of the building, but there were no injuries to the driver, customers, or pedestrians. At the time of the crash, there were seven customers inside the store along with two employees. Luckily, nobody inside was near the entrance when the crash occurred.
A structural engineer was scheduled to assess the building the following day to determine the extent of the damage. The owners want to get the OK from the engineer and ensure the building is safe before reopening. They receive numerous Facebook comments from customers wishing them well.
The crash also caused South Street between West Park Place and Hart Street to be temporarily closed.
